Rose Villa provides shared living accommodation for individuals aged 18+ who have mental health difficulties and housing needs. The service supports 5 people at any one time, each for a period of up to 2 years.
Rose Villa provides support to help people in learning to deal with their personal challenges, and gives people time to develop independent living skills. The support offered is tailored to individuals’ own needs, with a focus on recovery and gaining the skills needed to live more independently upon discharge.
Rose Villa also provides satellite support to 12 people who are living independently in the local community for up to a period of 2 years. People are supported in their own homes but can also come to the service and access support and be part of the overall Rose Villa community.
At Rose Villa, the community ethos is central. It provides the opportunity for people to develop relationships, practice social skills and acknowledge their personal responsibility.
We welcome diversity & are sensitive around individuals’ cultural & religious needs. Support is delivered via two Mental Health Support Workers who are based at Rose Villa, Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm. During this time they will also offer support to those individuals who are utilising the satellite service via pre-arranged appointments.
Personal centred support plans are used to gain an understanding of the individuals’ prominent support needs and the Outcome Star tool is used to chart individuals’ progress as they move through the service.
Rose Villa is the perfect service for individuals who aren’t quite ready to live alone or manage their own tenancy. Another essential quality is the fact that Service Users utilising the satellite service can drop into Rose Villa on an ad-hoc basis as and when they might need additional support outside of their allocated weekly session.

Community based referrals can also be made this way, or alternatively you can download the referral form and either post it to us or email it to email@example.com.
Referring for Satellite – ideally clients would reside in the local community, to be able to fully access & utilise the facilities at the hostel & be part of the community there. We would however consider all referrers citywide.
