We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic individual to join our team at Bridging the Gap as a Clinical Lead!
Bridging the Gap PD Services provide psycho-social interventions for male and female service users with personality difficulties who are screened into the Offender Personality Disorder Pathway. We are seeking to recruit an experienced, enthusiastic and highly motivated Psychologist from a Clinical, Forensic or Counselling Psychology background to become our Clinical Lead.
A subsidiary of Community Links which is part of the Inspire North Group, Bridging the Gap is commissioned as an Intensive Intervention and Risk Management Service (IIRMS) in the York, North Yorkshire and Humberside areas. This post is a unique opportunity to contribute to the shape and development of an IIRMS team, working with partners within the OPD Pathway.
The post holder will be responsible for providing and developing a specialist psychology input into the service. They will have chief responsibility in developing the clinical service model which will provide the framework from which therapeutic interventions to service users will be delivered.
They will be required to provide clinical supervision and support to the staff team with their caseload, providing assistance with the work undertaken with service users. A key element of the role will be to develop partnerships to promote effective teamwork and an innovative and inclusive service.
You will work as part of the multi-disciplinary clinical team, providing specialist psychological input. As well as working directly with clients, you will also provide supervision and consultation to the MDT and take part in weekly reflective practice groups.
