Stronger Families provides a range of group workshops and one to one sessions to develop skills which will assist people to lead healthy lives and look after their mental well-being. The project will assist those who may find it difficult to move into employment.
The service is suitable for people aged 18+ who have been referred by the Stronger Families Hub . The Stronger Families project in Leeds is run by Leeds City Council and Barca; Community Links is a specialist provider for mental health support.
The Stronger Families project is funded by The National Lottery Community Fund and the European Social Fund.
The aim is to help our service users understand how to lead healthy lives and look after their mental health and wellbeing. We encourage confidence and resilience so that people can lead healthy and fulfilling lives both during their time with the service and in the future.
