Rose Villa provides shared living accommodation for up to 5 people aged 18+ who have a mental health diagnosis and housing needs. Accommodation is provided under an assured shorthold tenancy with support from Mental Health Support Workers who are based at Rose Villa, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.
Rose Villa offers Level 2 support. This includes mental health and independent living rehab support and is staffed Monday-Friday 09:00-17:00.
At the Rose Villa hostel support is provided to help people develop their independent living and wellbeing skills. Support is tailored to individual needs to develop skills for independent living. Accommodation is offered as an assured shorthold tenancy for up to 2 years. The hostel is a service for individuals who aren’t quite ready to live alone or fully manage their own tenancy but can manage their medication and personal finances.
Staff will work with each person to co-produce a support plan. This is done using the Outcome Star to identify individual strengths. Support plans are based on the skills a person already has and developing these to promote independent living. The Outcome Star can also be used to chart individual progress.
At Rose Villa, our community ethos is central to our work. Activities and meet ups provide opportunities to develop relationships, social skills and discover personal qualities that can help improve wellbeing. We welcome diversity and are actively supportive around individuals’ cultural and religious needs.
