LMWS provides support and therapies for common issues, such as anxiety, stress and depression. Our treatments are available for those aged 17 and over who are registered with a Leeds GP.
We offer a wide range of proven psychological support so you can get the help that’s best suited to you.
Our primary aim is to help clients understand and find ways of coping with their mental health problem. The talking therapies we provide include guided self–help, stress and mood management, groups, classes, online and one to one cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) as well as other psychotherapeutic approaches.
The Leeds Mental Wellbeing Service works with people who are over 17 years of age who are registered with a Leeds GP.
Clients may be offered courses, online therapy or individual sessions following an initial assessment.
All interventions have a sound evidence base and are recommended by the National Institute for Clinical Excellence (NICE).
Core office hours are; 9am – 5pm Monday to Thursday and 9am – 4.30pm Fridays.
