Winter Wellbeing Grant

We are pleased to announce that we have been awarded some additional funding from the Leeds Community Foundation Winter Wellbeing Community Grants Scheme to offer our Winter Wellbeing packs.

We received funding last year from the scheme and offered packs to service users from our Accommodation Gateway service and handed out a mixture of items including kettles, gloves, scarves, hats and oil heaters to over 40 service users.

This new funding will enable us to deliver more items to Accommodation service users, such as duvets, oil heaters, blankets and kettles, to ensure the most vulnerable service users have the right equipment during the cold winter months.

The feedback from Leeds Community Foundation stated that “The panel appreciated the work that Community Links does with a vulnerable client group”.
