Community Links and Foundation Merger
A proposed merger between Community Links and Foundation was announced a few weeks ago and on October 17th the Trustees of both organisations confirmed the merger is approved.
By coming together, both organisations can increase effectiveness and provide a wealth of expertise, innovation and high quality mental health and housing services.
Community Links and Foundation share a history of working together towards a common purpose. The visions and values of the organisations are aligned and in an era of increasing competition it is clear that they are the right partners for each other and will be stronger together.
The merger will create a group structure with both organisations retaining their identity and delivering front line services. The creation of a Parent Company (Inspire North) will create a more comprehensive infrastructure with faster response times.
Claire Vilarrubi, is the Chair of Inspire North, Ruth Kettle, currently Chief Executive of Community Links is Chief Executive of Inspire North. Maggie Jones, currently Chief Executive of Foundation, has stepped down to pursue other opportunities.

The new Senior Leadership Team will be announced shortly. Community Links and Foundation will continue to complete due diligence and consultation processes in pursuit of completing the merger. These processes will be underpinned by a joint commitment to fairness, transparency, accountability, dignity and respect to employees, service users, customers, volunteers, commissioners and partners.
