The West Yorkshire-Finding Independence (WY-FI) project is improving the lives and wellbeing of people with some of the most entrenched multiple needs across West Yorkshire. Beneficiaries of the project experience at least 3 of the following needs; homelessness, addiction, re-offending and/or mental ill-health. The project supports those individuals who don’t engage in services, revolve in and out of services or are excluded from services.

A Big Lottery Funded project, WY-FI is a partnership of 9 delivery partners led by Human Kind, working across all five local authorities in West Yorkshire to deliver improvements to the service user journey by enabling integrated and effective working between services and agencies.

As a Navigator you will be working with individuals who may have a history of convictions for serious offences who are at a high risk of reoffending. Navigators will be exposed to individuals with challenging behavioural issues that may make it difficult for them to establish relationships at any level.

WY-FI is a unique and exciting opportunity to help support some of the most disadvantaged people in society to access the services and interventions they need to build their resilience, gain confidence, achieve their aspirations to live fulfilling lives and become active citizens in their communities.

If you are excited about the chance to work in a busy varied role and think you can do a remarkable job for us, then we’d love to hear from you.
