Investors in people
Community Links has renewed its award of the Effective Leadership in Management model of Investors in people. The assessor was told by staff:
"I won the lottery when I came to work here."
"I have never had anyone say to me that they do not have the time to listen."
"The buddy and mentor scheme is all part of an amazing induction."
"There are high expectations both internally and externally but with teamwork we deliver."
Staff cited the regular constructive reviews and feedback as "having a powerful impact upon job satisfaction."
"We learn together and have ample opportunities to grow and influence change in a positive way."
The IIP assessor reported: "A leadership team who are visible role models for their values and behaviours" and "The tone of the approach is set by the Chief Executive who seeks to get to know the whole person from selection and induction as well as working alongside staff".
